Karim rashid was born in Egypt,  grew up in Canada, and has made a name for himself in the past few years as a leading designer that among his clients we can find:  Artemida , Prada , Alessi , Miayake and many more.  Karim leads the industrial design, with over than 2000 commodity products and everyday items than were unseen before.  On one hand he brings with him exclusivety and style and on the other accessibility and humor to his creations.  His works are shown in over 14 museums worldwide.  Leading up to the opening of the Casa 2007 a special gala event took place at the home of Eran Rolls, CEO of the Israeli Building Center, attended by Karim Rashid.  In addition Karim Participated in a talk show, spoke before hundreds of architects, and met with the leading Israeli business community.
