Eran Rolls, Kamchi Lighting, Yair Rabinovitz, Ruti Lest and Jeanie Kuba at the reception for top designer Karim Rashid during the building & design exhibition:
The famous cliché: be there or be square proved itself during the CASA exhibition, which was one of the most organized and fantastic shows seen in Israel (arranged by the Israeli Building Center). The top designer Karim Rashid had arrived especially for the event, and had received a few welcoming receptions: at the fabulous Ramot Hashavim home of Eran Rolls, CEO of the Israeli Building Center, and at the compound of Kamchi Lighting, by Eva and Jacob Kamchi, who sell his lamps. The couple brought a 6 kilo of Grana cheese straight from Milan and high quality wine. Apart from the Kamchis and the great Rashid, others who enjoyed the fashionable lamps were Yair Rabinovitch and his wife Revital Aviram, Ruti Lest, Jeanie Kuba, the designer Irit, the leading architects Yossi Friedman, Orly Sharem, Oded Levie, Ronnie Gerstner, Liat Prise, Liora Fromechko and many more. All the guests were excited about meeting Rashid, asked for his autograph and then toured the exhibition, which presented the best and most modern interior designs.
